Nieuwegein, 7 December 2022 - VolkerWessels Logistics Development (VWLD) has sold its Waalwijk DCII project. The new owner is an international real estate asset manager. The distribution center on the Haven business park had already been taken into use by bathroom and sanitary specialist Coram Group, known from brands such as Sealskin and Tiger.
Second successful project at the Haven business park
For VWLD, Waalwijk DCII was already the second successful project on the Waalwijk business park Haven. In this case it concerned a redevelopment on the former site of Martens Beton, which had been vacated for some time. This single-tenant development on a stand alone site of approximately 1 hectare fully meets the requirements of the time. The distribution center consists of approximately 7,040 m2 of logistics space with a office and mezzanine, 4 docks, a sprinkler system and an all-electric heating system. The design of this sustainable location for storage, production and logistics has carried out by Kern Architecten.
