AMERSFOORT - VolkerWessels Logistics Development (VWLD) has recently concluded a lease agreement with Coram Group for its Waalwijk DC II new build development. It is expected that Coram Group will start using the building in the summer of 2022.

Waalwijk DC II

The distribution centre is VWLD's second development on the Haven industrial estate in Waalwijk. It is a single-tenant development on a private and enclosed site of approximately 1 hectare. This modern DC totals about 7,040 m² and is equipped with a loading bay with 4 loading docks, a sprinkler system and an all-electric heating system, among other things. This makes Waalwijk DC II a perfect sustainable space for storage, production and logistics activities.

Coram Group

Coram is a family business specialising in designing, developing, and producing bathroom and sanitary products. The lease of Waalwijk DC II marks the completion of Coram's Sealskin relocation project in Waalwijk.

Paul Groen, Supply Chain Director Coram:

"The new building has been designed according to the latest standards in the field of safety, efficiency and sustainability so that CORAM can continue to grow and realise its ambitions. The cooperation with VolkerWessels is very pleasant, and we are looking forward to moving into the building next summer."

Completion

VWLD will deliver the building to Coram Group on 1 July 2022. Brokers JLL and Bridgegap advised VWLD commercially during the leasing process.
