ABC Harnaschpolder
Sustainable logistics center with a future vision
In the heart of the Harnaschpolder business park in Midden-Delfland, VWLD, in collaboration with Delta Development, has realized the ABC Harnaschpolder project: a future-proof logistics complex of 15,040 m², developed for Logicall. The building, located at Hoog-Harnasch 1, was designed by OPL architects and constructed by Systabo, part of VolkerWessels. The site—strategically positioned between The Hague and Rotterdam along the A4—makes the complex ideal for logistics operations in the Randstad region.

ABC Harnaschpolder
Circular and Energy-Efficient
ABC Harnaschpolder has been developed according to the highest sustainability standards. The design is based on the principles of Cradle-to-Cradle and Design for Disassembly, using non-toxic and reusable materials. The energy supply is fully electric, with heat pumps and a roof equipped with solar panels. A white roof and green landscaping help to reduce heat stress and create a healthy working environment.
The sustainability performance is substantiated with a Wisebrick carbon profile, in which the building’s entire life cycle has been calculated. This has resulted in a building that more than meets the Paris Proof standards and achieves a BREEAM-NL Very Good rating.

User-Centric Design
Logicall uses the building as its central distribution center and headquarters for its technical services, including the installation and maintenance of payment terminals, coffee machines, and self-checkout systems. The layout of the building is flexible and future-oriented, featuring high-quality office spaces and a logistics hall designed to accommodate a wide range of usage scenarios.
Collaboration and Communication
The project was realized through close collaboration between VWLD, Delta Development, and tenant Logicall. After completion, ABC Harnaschpolder was sold to AEW.
