56,000 m² state-of-the-art logistics for the future
For Danone Nutricia, we developed an ultra-modern distribution centre directly connected to their new milk powder factory. With 56,000 m² of automated logistics space, the complex forms a crucial link in the distribution of 600 different early life nutrition and medical nutrition products. In close collaboration with Danone and their logistics provider, we created a complex where technology and efficiency converge.
Technology as Driving Force
The future of logistics revolves around automation. Robotic arms and automated guided vehicles optimise product flows and accelerate order picking. This smart technology, combined with the complex's scale, elevates distribution capacity to new heights.
Carbon-Neutral in Operation
The gas-free complex supports Danone's ambition for climate-neutral operations. With BREEAM Very Good qualification as our starting point, we realised a building that unites sustainability and operational excellence. The direct connection to the production facility minimizes transport movements and maximizes process efficiency.
Strategic Growth Zone
Laarakker Business Park proves its strategic value for national and international distribution. The direct location on the A73 ensures quick connections to Germany, while Cuijk's container terminal enables multimodal transport via the Meuse River. These advantages have already attracted major names like Essity, SCA, Aviko, Nuvita, and GW Damen to this logistics hotspot.
