ABC Harnaschpolder delivered to Logicall
Midden Delfland, December 19, 2024 – VolkerWessels Logistics Development (VWLD) and Delta Development today officially delivered ABC Harnaschpolder, located on the Harnaschpolder business park in Midden Delfland, to Logicall Technical Materiële & Beheer. The sustainable logistics complex was designed by OPL architects and built by Systabo, also a VolkerWessels company.
The completion of ABC Harnaschpolder marks the culmination of an intensive development process. The official go-ahead for the construction of the new facility was given in April 2024. This project includes 15,040 m² of high-quality industrial and office space and is located at Hoog-Harnasch 1.
The building is distinguished by sustainable and circular principles. For example, together with WiseBrick, the whole life carbon footprint of the building is mapped out and special attention has been paid to CO2 reduction in building materials and operational processes, an energy-efficient installation with electric heat pumps and a roof with solar panels. The white roof and green plants reduce heat stress and contribute to a healthy working environment. The design embraces the Cradle-to-Cradle philosophy, with non-toxic, recyclable materials and a Design for Disassembly principle. The project will receive a BREEAM Very Good score.
Logicall Technical Equipment & Management – specialist in the supply, installation and maintenance of ATMs, coffee machines, fitness equipment, packaging systems, soft drink machines and self-scan payment systems in supermarkets – will use the complex as a central hub and head office.
